New Boss: Damien
Once you clear all four Acts of Heroes of Maple, players Lv. 190 and above can open the Boss Matchmaking List window and go head-to-head with Damien. The Black Mage may be defeated, but his is not the only evil. This commander, Damien, is leading a demon army into the Maple World! Left unchecked, they will destroy everything in their path.

Aran's Basics
- The rules for stacking combos and the maximum possible combo count was adjusted, but since combos are no longer consumed when using skills, the consumption of both MP and combos has been improved.
- If you reach the Max combo count you are automatically put into Adrenaline Rush. While in Adrenaline Rush, you are able to use powerful Finisher moves.
- Additionally, you keep the stacked combos even after death and the combo deduction standard has been lowered making it easier to stack combos.
- Skills also now have a Command feature. This means that any ability under the Command feature (Right-Clicking the ability which shows a small lock icon), can only be used by activating its hotkey. Example: Aran's "Combat Step" skill will work when you double-tap the Right movement key. Under the Command feature (locked), double-tapping the Right movement key will not allow Aran to combat step.
Aran's Basics
- Combat Step (Max Level 1): Press the jump key or any direction key twice to dash. The skill can be activated once more if you use the jump key while midair. Also passively increases your Speed and Max Movement Speed. (Command: Right, Right or press Jump).
- Return to Rien (Max Level 1): Teleport to Rien.
- Combo Kill Blessing (Max Level 3): (Link Skill) Maha blesses your combos. This link skill can be used by one character in the same world.
Aran's First Job
- Combo Ability: Counts up your attacks in a Combo Count. Increases Attack Power, Defense, and Movement Speed with every 50 counts, stacking up to 10 times. Also, passively increases your knockback resistance. Level 10 required to learn Advanced Combo Ability. Required Skill: Smash Swing Lv. 10.
- Smash Swing: Calls upon Aran's muscle memory to swing the polearm 3 times in a row, hard. (Command: Tap the Attack Key multiple times). Level 1 required to learn Polearm Mastery and Level 10 required to learn Swing Studies I.
- Smash Wave: Fires a burst of energy through your polearm to enemies in front. (Command: Down, Right+Attack Key). Command Effect: Increases the range of the projectile. Additional Adrenaline Rush Effect: Increases the number of projectiles. Right-Click to lock command.
- Polearm Booster: Triples the attack speed of your weapon. Must have a polearm equipped.
- Body Pressure: Surround yourself with bitingly cold air to reflect damage taken from bumping into enemies. Can be toggled On/Off.
Aran's Second Job
- Final Charge: Charges forward, quickly knocking back enemies in your path. (Command: Left, Down, Right + Attack Key). Command Effect: Stun. Additional Adrenaline Rush Effect: Leaves an ice trail behind you that freezes enemies. Right-Click to lock command.
- Final Toss: Lifts multiple enemies in front into the air. Airborne enemies take more damage, including enemies lifted with Judgment Draw and Rolling Spin. (Command: Up + Attack Key). Command Effect: Increases your vertical jump. Right-Click to lock command.
- Rolling Spin: Uses centrifugal force to spin your polearm while standing in place and lift enemies nearby. (Command: Down, Up + Attack Key). Command Effect: Stun. Right-Click to lock command.
- Command Mastery I: Enhances the effects of Command-activated skills. Level 5 required to learn Command Mastery II.
- Swing Studies I: Through intense study, you've perfected your polearm swing. Increases swing damage and allows you to move while swinging. Also, you now know how to link Smash Swings with other skills to deal additional damage via a polearm afterimage. This also increases the damage of other skills for a short period afterwards. Level 4 required to learn Aero Swing. Required Skill: Smash Swing Lv. 10.
- Drain: Absorbs some of the damage you dealt to the enemies as HP. Permanently increases your Max HP. Can be toggled On/Off. Required Skill: Combo Ability Lv. I.
- Snow Charge: Permanently increases damage and infuses your polearm with powers of the ice spirit for a certain amount of time.
- Polearm Mastery: Increases polearm weapon mastery, accuracy, and speed. Level 10 required to learn High Mastery. Required Skill: Smash Swing Lv. I.
- Physical Training: Permanently improves STR and DEX through sheer physical training.
- Final Attack: Provides a chance to activate Final Attack damage after an attack. The character must have a Polearm equipped. Required Skill: Polearm Mastery Lv. 3. Level 20 required to learn Advanced Final Attack.
Aran's Third Job
- Advanced Combo Ability: Masterfully counts up your attacks in a Combo Count. Increases Critical Rate and Attack Power with every 100 counts, stacking up to 10 times. Also, passively increases your Power Stance Chance, Attack Power, Abnormal Status Resistance Chance, Critical Rate, and Critical Maximum Damage. Level 20 requires to learn Adrenaline Rush. Required Skill: Combo Ability Lv. 10.
- Aero Swing: Allows you to use Smash Swing while airborne. Use Smash Swing while jumping, and Maha will stop you from falling. You'll be able to move around, just like on the ground. Also, passively increase Smash Swing's damage. (Command: Combo Attack Key while jumping). Level 10 required to learn Swing Studies II. Required Skill: Swing Studies I LV. 4.
- Adrenaline Rush: A rush of adrenaline pushes your battle prowess to its maximum. Level 20 required to learn Finisher. Required Skill: Advanced Combo Ability Lv. 10.
- Final Blow: Swing your polearm around to deal enormous damage, ignoring some DEF. Learn this skill to utilize Final Blow as the 3rd hit of Smash Swing. (Command: Down + Attack Key). Command Effect: renders all enemy attacks ineffective. Additional Adrenaline Rush Effect: Shoots shockwaves in front of you. Level 20 required to learn Beyond Blade. Right-click to lock command.
- Judgment Draw: Your polearm slams into the ground with great force, bouncing nearby enemies. Enemies hit directly by the polearm will be frozen and take damage over time. You can control where the polearm lands. (Command: Up, Down/Up, Right/Up, Left + Attack Key).Command Effect: Freeze. Right-Click to lock command.
- Gathering Hook: Uses your polearm blade as a hook to gather enemies in front of you. (Command: Up, Up + Attack Key). Right-Click to lock command.
- Maha Blessing: Increases party member's Attack with the blessings of Maha, the spirit of the polearm.
- Might: Permanently increases Attack Power and Defense and allows you to knockback enemies with a small amount of damage.
- Cleaving Blows: Ignores a portion of a monster's defense and your damage increases when attacking Boss Monsters.
Aran's Fourth Job
- Beyond Blade: Utilizes all of Aran's strength to sweep away enemies with Maha. You're invincible while using Beyond Blade. Additional Adrenaline Rush Effect: Shoots out shockwaves front and back. Required Skill: Final Blow Lv. 20.
- Finisher - Storm of Fear: Pummel your enemies with a series of swings so quick, your polearm becomes invisible. Forms a whirlwind around Aran, sucking in all enemies. This skill can be activated by command only during Adrenaline Rush. (Command: Down, Left, Right + Attack Key(Held down)). Once activated, Aran cannot activate any other attacking skills while this key is pressed down. This is to prevent this skill from being cancelled as another skill was activated. Required Skill: Adrenaline Rush Lv. 20.
- Finisher - Hunter's Prey: Charges forward to strike a powerful blow, automatically targeting the most powerful enemy in the direction of your attack. Charge the skill longer to do more damage. You're invincible while charging. This skill can be activated by command only during Adrenaline Rush. (Command: Down, Right, Up + Attack Key (held down)). Fixed an issue where damage would be abnormally applied. Required Skill: Adrenaline Rush Lv. 20.
- High Mastery: Maxes out Polearm Mastery, while increasing Minimum Critical Damage and Attack Power. Required Skill: Polearm Mastery Lv. 10.
- High Defense: A new defense technique that permanently decreases damage received from enemies and increases Max HP and DEF.
- Maple Warrior: Temporarily increases the stats of all party members.
- Hero's Will: By focusing your mind, you can ignore some abnormal status effects. However, this will not work on all abnormal status effects.
- Sudden Strike: Damage dealt by Smash Wave, Final Charge, Final Toss, Rolling Spin, Judgment Draw, and Final Blow increased.
- Command Mastery II: Enhances the effects of Command-activated skills. Required Skill: Command Mastery Lv. 5.
- Swing Studies II: Through intense study, you've perfected your polearm swing and Smash Swing technique. Increases your movement speed and damage while swinging. Increases the damage of skills used after Smash Swing. The 2nd and 4th hits of Smash Swing and Aero Swing become Final Blows. Required Skill: Aero Swing Lv. 10.
- Advanced Final Attack: Permanently increases ATT and Accuracy. Greatly increases the damage and activation rate of your Final Attack. Required Skill: Final Attack Lv. 20.

- Storming Terror: Increases the max number of monsters hit by Finisher - Storm of Fear.

- Beyond-er Blade: Increases Beyond Blade's damage. (Does not affect the shockwaves triggered by Adrenaline Rush).

- Maha's Domain: Summons a sleeping, giant Maha, which drops to the ground, affecting a large area. Deals damage over time to enemies in range. Removes Abnormal Status and restores HP and MP to party members in range.
- Heroic Memories: Recalls the oath of the Maple Heroes to increase damage and max damage cap.
- Adrenaline Burst: Instantly activates Adrenaline Rush. When triggered by this skill, Adrenaline Rush can't be affected by buff duration increase effects. Required Skill: Adrenaline Rush Lv. 20

- Back to Nature: Moves you to your front yard.
- Persistence Rune: (Link Skill) Enhances Rune Magic ATT to increase the duration runes are active.
Evan's First Job
- Mana Burst I: Two bursts of mana attack enemies in front. As you job advance, this skill improves, up to Mana Burst IV. (Lv. 10 required to learn Mana Burst II).
- Teleport: Allows you to teleport a set distance to other locations on the same map using the arrow keys.
- Magic Guard: A portion of the damage dealt to you affects your MP instead of your HP. Activated automatically when you have at least 1 MP, and is ineffective when you have 0 MP. Can be toggled on/off with the skill key.
- Dragon Soul: Your dragon contract increases your Weapon DEF, Magic DEF, and Speed.
- Magic Link: Shares Mir's magic, raising Evan's Magic ATT.
- Dragon Spark: Whenever Evan attacks, Mir might attack too.
Evan's Second Job
- Mana Burst II: Three bursts of mana attack enemies in front. As you job advance, this skill improves, up to Mana Burst IV. Lv. 20 required to learn Mana Burst III.
- Wind Circle: Launches a gust of wind to push enemies aside and deal damage.
- Dragon Flash: (Mir Skill) Mir flashes between enemies, attacking all in his way. If this skill hits an enemy with attack reflection, you won't take damage. Mir's skills and fusion skills aren't affected by attack speed increases.
- Wind Flash: (Fusion Skill) Sharp blades of wind blast enemies when Mir's Dragon Flash melds with Evan's magic. Wind Flash advances alongside Dragon Flash. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Wind Circle while Mir is using Dragon Flash.
- Return Flash: (Fusion Skill) Mir immediately stops attacking and returns to Evan, cursing nearby enemies to take more damage. This skill advances alongside Dragon Flash. Activates when Evan uses (Return) while Mir is using Dragon Flash, Wind Flash, and Thunder Flash.
- Return!: Calls for Mir to immediately return to Evan's side. Various effects may activate based on the attack Mir was using when called.
- Magic Booster: Increases Evan's Magic Attack Speed for a short time.
- Support Jump: Evan uses air currents made by Mir's flapping wings to jump once more. Press the jump button and the up direction key while jumping to jump higher. Can only use while Mir isn't attacking.
- High Wisdom: Your mental discipline permanently increases your INT.
- Partners: Evan and Mir are partners on the battlefield, increasing their battle prowess.
- Spell Mastery: Increases Magic Mastery, Magic ATT, and Critical Rate. Level 10 required to learn Magic Mastery.
- Advanced Dragon Spark: After Evan uses an attack skill, Mir has a chance to deal an additional, enhanced magic attack.
Evan's Third Job
- Mana Burst III: Four bursts of mana attack enemies in front. As you job advance, this skill improves, up to Mana Burst IV. Lv. 20 required to learn Mana Burst IV.
- Thunder Circle: Create a pentacle of thunder to decimate enemies nearby.
- Dragon Dive: (Mir Skill) Mir dives in front of Evan, creating shockwaves with the beating of his wings. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Mir's skills and fusion skills aren't affected by Attack Speed increases. Lv. 20 required to learn Dragon Breath.
- Return Dive: (Fusion Skill) Mir immediately stops attacking and returns to Evan, buffing all ally Attack Speed by 1. This skill advances alongside Dragon Dive. Activates when Evan uses (Return) while Mir is using Dragon Dive, Thunder Dive, and Earth Dive.
- Thunder Dive: (Fusion Skill) Powerful electric orbs flow through Mir's body when Mir's Dragon Dive melds with Evan's magic. Thunder Dive advances alongside Dragon Dive. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Thunder Circle while Mir is using Dragon Dive. Increased the duration of the electric orbs, also changing them to look semi-transparent. Changed the behavior of the orbs from previous versions at certain distances.
- Thunder Flash: (Fusion Skill) Five pentacles of thunder appear and crash into enemies when Mir's Dragon Flash melds with Evan's magic. Thunder Flash advances alongside Dragon Flash. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Thunder Circle while Mir is using Dragon Flash. Reduced attack radius at all points.

- Elemental Decrease: Temporarily decreases the Elemental Resistance to all of your attacks. Also permanently increases your final damage.

Evan's Fourth Job
- Mana Burst IV: Four bursts of highly condensed mana attack enemies in front, twice in a row. This is the final version of mana burst.

- Dragon Breath: (Mir Skill) Releases a fiery breath that scorches enemies in front. Not affected by attack reflection. Skill damage increases from the Dragon Breath passive trump the damage increases for Dragon Dive. Mir's skills and fusion skills aren't affected by Attack Speed increases. - Wind Breath: (Fusion Skill) Mir breathes out a storm of flames that deal a tremendous amount of damage when his Dragon Breath melds with Evan's magic. Wind Breath advances alongside Dragon Breath. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Wind Circle while Mir is using Dragon Breath.
- Earth Breath: (Fusion Skill) Mir breathes out flames that homes in on enemies when his Dragon Breath melds with Evan's magic. Earth Breath advances alongside Dragon Breath. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Earth Circle while Mir is using Dragon Breath.
- Return Flame: (Fusion Skill) Mir immediately stops attacking and returns to Evan, scorching enemies in a curtain of flame. This skill advances alongside Dragon Breath. Activates when Evan uses (Return) while Mir is using Dragon Breath, Wind Breath, or Earth Breath.
- Earth Dive: (Fusion Skill) Smashes a boulder into enemies in front when Mir's Dragon Dive melds with Evan's magic. Earth Dive advances alongside Dragon Dive. You won't take damage when this skill targets enemies with attack reflection. Activates when Evan uses Earth Circle while Mir is using Dragon Dive.
- Dark Fog: A dark, cold fog descends, attacking multiple enemies at once. Applies additional Critical Rate. Magic Debris's damage increases while Dark Fog is on cooldown. Magic Debris will gain +20% damage while Dark Fog is on cooldown.
- Blessing of the Onyx: Increases Weapon Defense, Magic Defense, and Magic Attack.
- Maple Warrior: Temporarily increases the stats of all party members.
- Hero's Will: By focusing your mind, you can ignore some abnormal status effects. However, this will not work on all abnormal status effects.
- Enhanced Magic Debris: Forms enhanced magic debris around enemies struck by fusion skills. Activate the debris to deal damage to enemies around Evan. The damage is proportional to the amount of debris activated at once.

- For the hero class we added features to Cry Valhalla and increased the opportunity for higher damage output.
- Brandish: Attack range has been increased, and damage is now 280% from 220%.
- Combo Fury: The casting delay has been decreased when casting with the down arrow key. Casting with the down arrow key now uses 1 Combo Counter.
- Shout: Shouting with the down arrow key and normally using Shout have been switched. Shout now deals 200% up to 6 times and up to as many as 10 enemies in an extended range. When casting with the down arrow key, Shout does 200% damage up to 3 times within a smaller range and stuns enemies for 6 seconds. If a boss is hit while holding the down key, the chance to inflict an abnormal status increases to 100%. Cooldown is 10 seconds.
- Raging Blow: Damage while in Enrage state has been reduced to 167% from 215% and number of hits is now 9 instead of 7.
- Cry Valhalla: Cooldown is now 210 seconds instead of 90 seconds. The attack power increase has been removed, but critical rate has been increased to 50%. Knockdown immunity has been added and lasts 30 seconds. The amount of monsters hit by Raging Blow has changed to 8.
Paladin
- The damage from One-handed weapons was low so some buffs were added to one-handed weapons.
- High Paladin: Wielding a one-handed sword now increases mastery by 3%.
- Blast: Buff now lasts for 120 seconds from 90 seconds.
Dark Knight
- The cooldown for Final Pact was too low, making it to where Dark Knights were returning to the fight too easily. While its cooldown has gone up, the amount of time the invincibility lasts has also gone up. This gives the opportunity to output more damage after reviving.
- Evil Eye: There is no longer a cast action.
- Evil Eye of Domination: Now follows the damage formula for the character.
- Evil Eye Shock: Now follows the damage formula for the character.
- Lord of Darkness: Heal amount is now 2% max HP.
- Dark Impale: Increased attack range.
- Gungnir's Descent: Now does 12 hits and damage has been reduced to 210% from 250%.
- Final Pact: Invincibility now lasts 40 seconds instead of 25. The amount of numbers needed to be killed for revival is up from 20 → 30. Cooldown is now 600 seconds at max rank (30).
- Revenge of the Evil Eye: Now follows the damage formula for the character.
- Dark Thirst: Decreased Cast Delay.
Explorer Magician
- Magic Guard: Can now be toggled On/Off.

- Ignite: Fixed an error where a monster's attack negate nullification skill was being ignored.

- Ifrit: Enemies hit by Ifrit will now take 140% damage for 2 seconds on top of the already existing effects.
- Mist Eruption: Damage over Time boost has been adjusted to give more damage with more stacks. If there are 5 stacks of Damage over Time on an enemy the cooldown will be decreased by 2 seconds.
- Poison Mist - Aftermath: Damage over Time boost has been lowered to 6 seconds from 10 seconds.
Arch Mage (Ice, Lightning)

- Thunderstorm: Now has increased movement speed. Also follows the damage formula for the character.
- Chain Lightning: Its number of hits has been increased to 8 and damage is dropped to 230%.
- Freezing Breath: Buff icon now shows the remaining cast time.

- Fixed an issue where the effects of certain buffs weren't being shown to party members.
