Update Part 1: Gathering of Heroes
New Content: Tenebris Expedition
The journey of destiny to defeat the Black Mage begins.
- Level 61 and above characters can enter the Maple Alliance Outpost through accepting the '[Black Mage] Impeding time of Destiny' quest. Then by completing the '[Black Mage] Resolve with Cygnus', you can become a member of the Maple Alliance.
- Each time you complete an Alliance Mission, you gain more Desires to save the world.
New Event: Tera Burning
Introducing Tera Burning Project! 1+2 level up to Lv. 200!
Create a brand-new character during the event period and select it to have the special "Burning" effect. After your character reaches Lv. 10, every time that character levels up it will gain an additional two levels all the way up to Lv. 200! This event is open to characters in both Reboot and non-Reboot worlds, except for Zero characters.
Tera Burning character will receive a Chaos Root Abyss Fafnir Set at Lv. 150 that comes with fully scrolled 70%, Epic potential and 12 Stars Enhanced with a 30 days duration. All 5th Job Advancement pre-quest will be exempted for Tera Burning character.

New Region: Arcane River - Tenebris
Arcane River: Tenebris consist of 3 different areas
- 1st area - Moonbridge
- 2nd area - Labyrinth of Suffering
- 3rd area - Limen
How it works:
- Based on the all the world's progress, future areas will be unlocked according to the gauge.
- Players must work together to unlock future areas by collecting Desires.
New Area: Arcane River Tenebris 1st Area - Moonbridge

- Level Requirement: Lv. 200 and above, must have completed Lv. 61 Tenebris Expedition story quest.
- Based on all the world's progress, future area of Moonbridge will be unlocked.
- Players must work together to unlock future areas by collecting Desires.

Alliance Supply Shop is now available!
- Member's of the Alliance can purchase various items depending on your Alliance Rank by using Alliance Coins that can be exchanged from Desire.
- 100 Desires = 1 Alliance Coin
New Event: 100 Player Defense Mission: Kariaine's Attack
This event has been discontinued on the first day of release due to various players using macros to gain high scores
- Join up to 100 players together to protect the Maple World from 'Crazy Mage Kariaine's' attack!
- Event Period: Accept invitation above your character everyday from 1015 hrs to 2345 hrs, every 15 minutes and 45 minutes.
- You can earn Desire as a reward and you can earn 1 point for each attack, as rank and points are determined according to your score.
- You can play a total of 3 rounds, each round will last for 60 seconds.
- You can earn up to 5000 Desire per round, but you can not get any reward if your score is less than 30 points.
- Players will be immobilized if hit by Kariaine's attack 3 seconds.
Update Part 3: Labyrinth

Finally! You'll be able to fight Black Mage!
- Level Requirement: Lv. 200 and above
- Quest Pre-requisite: Completion of Tenebris Expedition: Arcane River - Labyrinth story quest
- Phase 1,2 and 3 Black Mage's HP is shared between all worlds in the whole server!
- You can only fight Black Mage at these specific times.
- Every day at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30PM, 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 9:30 PM, and 11:30 PM (KST)
- You will be able to enter the fight for 15 minutes.
- Phase 4 Black Mage HP is individual and it's only available as a story mode boss right now.

All the areas that were temporary closed after the Tenebris Expedition and the defeat of Black Mage as an event based content, it's now being reopened as a permanent content for players Lv. 245, Lv. 250 and Lv. 255!
Get ready to adventure deeper into the continent of Arcane River as you travel to Tenebris! This brand-new final region is available to players Lv. 245 and above who have completed the questline in Esfera.

Requirement: Lv. 255 and above
Get ready to adventure deeper into the continent of Arcane River as you travel to Tenebris! This brand-new final region is available to players Lv. 245 and above who have completed the questline in Esfera.
Moonbridge
Requirement: Lv. 245 and above
- A new area of Arcane River is discovered!
- This area is restricted to characters Lv. 245 and above who have completed the quest line in Esfera.
Labyrinth of Suffering
Requirement: Lv. 250 and above
- A new area of Arcane River is discovered!
- This area is restricted to characters Lv. 250 and above who have completed the quest line in Moonbridge.
Limen
Requirement: Lv. 255 and above
- A new area of Arcane River is discovered!
- This area is restricted to characters Lv. 255 and above who have completed the quest line in Labyrinth of Suffering.
New Bosses: Dusk, Real Hilla, Captain Dunkel, Black Mage
Bosses that were in Tenebris Expedition as an event content boss is now available as a permanent boss in Arcane River: Tenebris!

New Weapon: Genesis Weapon
NOTE: Genesis Weapon stats in the video will vary as this is the data taken from the Test Server.
- After completing the Limen story quest, you can begin the Genesis weapon quest through the quest notifier.
- You'll need to defeat Black Mage to get the Sealed Genesis Weapon Box!
- Once you open the Sealed Genesis Weapon Box, it will give you the Genesis Weapon for your class.
- You can then liberate the sealed Genesis weapon though various missions.
- For Zero, after completing all missions, you'll receive a Genesis Essence to enhance Lapis/Lazuli to Type 10.
- Only 1 Genesis weapon can be acquired per character and it cannot be traded.
- After the Genesis weapon is fully liberated, it will have the following bonuses.
- The weapon will have 30% Boss Damage and 20% Defense Ignore
- The weapon is a Lucky Item, it will be able to fill in all set effects of which you have 3 or more items already equipped
- Scrolled completely with 15% Scroll Traces
- 22 Star Force
- Unique potential
- Epic additional potential
- You cannot Star Force or Scroll Trace the item any further
- For Zero, you will be able to choose if you would like to transfer the potential and additional porential
- When a Genesis is equipped and it has been liberated pass a certain stage, you will get two skills.
- Demiurge of Destruction
- Aion of Creation
- If you lose your sealed Genesis weapon/Genesis weapon/Genesis Essence during the quest, you must redo the mission again from the beginning.
